St Neots Crazy Skaters and St Neots Sharks Fundraising for Young Minds

This year, St Neots Crazy Skaters and St Neots Sharks are proud to be fundraising in support of Young Minds.

Young Minds is a leading charity dedicated to improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people. The organisation provides vital advice, information and support to young people and the adults who care for them. It also campaigns to influence government and services, working to ensure that mental health support is accessible, effective and available at an early stage. Its mission is simple but powerful: to ensure that no young person feels alone when facing mental health challenges.

At SNCS, we believe it is essential that our local community has a safe, supportive space where people can embrace new challenges, build confidence and create lasting memories through achievements in roller sport. Our volunteers are committed to helping every skater succeed and to creating an environment where young people feel encouraged, valued and supported. Like Young Minds, we understand the profound impact that the right environment — and having someone in your corner — can have on a young person’s wellbeing and aspirations.

The funds we raise will not only support Young Minds in their vital work, but will also help us continue championing a positive and empowering environment for our members.

Artistic & Social Skaters: Lap challenge. Skaters will be tasked with completing a total of 3000 laps of the hall as a collective in 60 minutes. Skaters will be able to record their progress individually every 10 laps using a lap count sheet. These individual totals will then be added together at the end of the 60 minutes.

We are incredibly proud of our members for taking on this challenge and for supporting such an important cause.
